The World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) are an annual conference held at the beginning of March in Wels/Austria. With more than 800 participants every year, it is one of the largest annual conferences on sustainable energy in Europe. In addition to individuals, also groups from universities or research organisations can submit papers. In case of selection of papers, the organiser will support the participation of max. 3 students/young researchers & 1 R&D professional per selected paper. Papers submitted by groups should mainly be based on work carried out by senior students and/or young researchers.

Submissions are invited from any field (e.g. technology & engineering, economic and social sciences, law, arts, etc.) and must be in English only.
Contributions must be submitted using the online submission form. It is a "one stage" submission process, meaning that the evaluation of the papers will be based on the information received by 5 October. The organisers therefore recommend not only to submit short abstracts.

The submitted papers will be selected by a scientific committee. Selected participants will be notified by the conference organisers (in November/December 2011) and more information on practical details will be provided then.
