Massive tornado swept through Syktyvkar causing destruction of the pellet plant

The new pellet plant which was planned to be opened on 1st of October 2016 was completely destroyed by massive tornado in the city of Syktyvkar, the capital of the eastern Komi Republic, on Thursday – 25th of August.

The new German pellet equipment crashed by strong wind. The CEO of the plant – Mr. Abbassov worked in a plant, which was in the epicenter of the tornado. He survived but he is very sore because the factory is fully ruined. The company made a loss of 10 000 000 Rubbles. The reconstruction will need time and money: new investors and credits, writes the Information Analytical Agency INFOBIO.
