European Pellet Conference 2021

The European Pellet Conference 2021 moves to the summer and will take place on 22 June!

We plan to hold this special edition of our annual conference as a hybrid event: you can join us in Wels/Austria or connect digitally from anywhere in the world.

Different dates, but same high-relevance content! Bioenergy for a green recovery – this is the focus of the 2021 conference.

Learn and discuss how we can make a green recovery happen in practice and how the pellet sector can profit from this deep transformation. We will present the policies, technologies and markets that can get us there!
 

What is it all about?
Europe has the ambitious goal of becoming the first climate neutral continent by 2050. The Green Deal and the EU Climate Law are first concrete steps. Bioenergy is a key pillar of the European and global energy transition and can also contribute to economic growth. In 2021, the conference – the largest annual pellet event worldwide with more than 450 participants from over 50 countries each year – shows how we can make a green recovery happen in practice and how the pellet sector can profit from this deep transformation.

Boosting economic recovery with bioenergy! This is the focus of the next European Pellet Conference on 22 June 2021 in Wels/Austria – part of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED). Take a look at the programme!

After more than a year, we are one of the first international conferences offering on-site participation! Take advantage of this opportunity!

Hybrid event: online or on-site

We are holding this "special edition" of our annual conference as a hybrid event: You can participate online from anywhere in the world. According to current planning, on-site participation will also be possible (following COVID rules in place at the time of the event). Registered participants will receive detailed guidance prior to the conference. On-site conference days in Wels/Austria will be 22-24 June (WSED).
